The OCM photocopy auditor is an integral part of OCM and resides on the same server as the OCM operating system.

Scan Auditing

OCM has the ability to capture and audit scans generated on a multifunction device by using OCMs embedded device management technology or its external touch screen console.

Fax Auditing

OCM has the ability to capture and audit outgoing facsimiles sent from a multifunction device by using OCMs embedded device management technology or its external touch screen console.

Local Desktop Auditing

OCM Desktop Auditor offers the ability to audit locally attached printers connected to client PCs running Microsoft Windows NT, 2000, or XP and are connected to the PC via the parallel or USB port. All print activity captured and audited by OCM Desktop Auditor is automatically communicated back to the Central OCM Auditor. OCM Desk Top Auditor integrates fully into the Client PC's Windows operating system architecture. With security subsystem integration and an efficient print auditor – based design, it acts as a fully enabled part of Windows.

 
In the event of the PC loosing network communication, the OCM print auditor will continue to audit all print output, once the network communication has been re-established the auditor will automatically upload the audited data to the OCM web server database.
